Escape from Earth
World War III has ended, and with it, life on Earth. The disaster was not caused by a single war, but by a sequence of conflicts that gradually destroyed the balance of global security. The war in Ukraine marked the beginning of a new era of instability. Then came wave after wave of regional wars, each one pushing the world closer to collapse. The final escalation came with the war against Iran. It pulled dozens of nations into direct military confrontation. The USA–Israeli coalition was winning. Ukraine was winning. Facing defeat, Putin launched nuclear weapons. Others responded. Humanity destroyed itself. My name is Moris. I am a pilot in the American Space Forces. Other nations have similar programs, some public, some hidden. They were created for one purpose: to preserve humanity beyond Earth if the worst ever happened. And now it has. I launched according to protocol. My ship is ascending through the atmosphere while the planet burns beneath me. Around me, other ships are rising into the sky — fragments of nations, fragments of hope. Behind us, Earth is dying. World War III is over. There will be no World War IV. We are the last survivors. We are humanity's final chance.
Objective: Escape Earth, avoid debris and other ships, and survive the ascent into space.
